The Adoption Process

Thank you for your interest in a Dachshund Dude Ranch puppy. We are proud of what we do, and are looking for amazing families for each and every puppy.

We keep our website very up to date, so if you are interested in a puppy currently on the website, please fill out this form. We will contact you as soon as possible and chat about that puppy. If, after talking, we decide that it is the right puppy for you, you will then place a deposit through Venmo, Zelle, CashApp or PayPal.

Deposits are $200 and are non-refundable.

Once you have chosen your puppy, filled out the contact form and placed your deposit we will communicate with you weekly with updated pictures so you can watch your puppy grow. NOTE: We occasionally skip or move a picture day due to holidays, vacation or illness, but we will always notify you if that happens.

At 6 weeks we encourage you to come and visit your puppy and see if their temperament is what you are looking for. At 8 weeks your puppy is usually ready to go home. If flight is needed it is best to set it up as soon as possible (the farther out the flight is, the cheaper it is). Please set an appointment with me to come and pick up your puppy as we try to allow enough time for everybody to visit and see the ranch.
