Puppet
Puppet is spirited 5-year-old girl weighing 15.5 pounds (ideal weight closer to around 14 pounds). She is a bright girl who picks up new routines quickly and is looking for a family to share her life with. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, had a recent dental cleaning, is microchipped, and on a monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
Puppet is a "lookout" at heart—she loves patrolling the yard for squirrels and keeping a watchful eye on her domain. While she can be shy when first meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up. Once she trusts you, she is a great cuddler, has an awesome Elvis smile, and the best tail wags!
Puppet’s ideal home would be teenagers or adults who can appreciate her smart, independent nature, and at least one other dog, however, due to her high prey drive and love of the "squirrel patrol," she would likely chase cats or other small animals. Puppet needs a home with a fenced in backyard where she can exercise her instincts. She is not yet leash trained but should learn quickly with love and patience! Puppet is crate trained!
